Mapping

Learning maps is important during mapping because one requires a map to access to different areas. We learnt how to read maps in Kembu cottages by the help of a guide called Jeffrey. He also taught us how to use a compass. He then gave us a task of looking For some numbers written on a metal plate which were white. He then distributed us into two equal groups.

For my group we were so excited to do the task. We first started with the closest numbers and the part I really enjoyed was looking for a number deep in the woods inside a forest full of weeds. We tried our best to find the plate but all our hard work was all in vain because we did not manage to find the plate.

I also remember one of us getting lost in the woods but we finally managed to find her. I really enjoyed doing mapping in Kembu cottages.
